The owner of the Miss Marquette riverboat/casino has announced plans to sell the boat as part of a proposed merger agreement. The boat is currentlyowned by Sodak Gaming Incorporated of Rapid City, South Dakota. Sodak is proposing selling the boat to International Game Technology Corporation in amerger that would see I-G-T-C pay 10 dollars a share. The total deal is worth approximately 30-million dollars. The sale and merger is still subject to regulatory approval. The sale must also be approved by the Iowa racing and gaming commission.
