The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating an accident on Interstate 90near Janesville, Wisconsin that killed six people. 20-year old JeremeyHolmes of Clinton, Iowa was reportedly driving the van. Sergeant Brad Altmansays the crash involved a van carrying students from several states who wereselling magazines. The van carried 14 people and twelve were ejected whenthe van crashed. Altman says the crash scene was “horrific” and a tangle ofrescue equipment. Altman says drugs were found in the van, but it’s notbelieved the driver of the van was under the influence. The driver of thevan, Holmes has been released from the hospital and is in custody inRockford, Illinois. Altman says they are having trouble identifying thevictims as many were not carrying any identification.(The Wisconsin Radio Network helped supply information for this story)
