Senator John Jensen, arepublican from Plainfield, rejected claims that the bill may fuel fears of amillennium melt-down.The bill does NOT give computer hardware, software or equipment businessesthe immunity from Y-2-K lawsuits. It passed the Senate on a 50-to-zerovote.
