Officials with the Iowa Cubs say tickets remain for the Cubs home opener onApril 16th against Las Vegas. Cubs spokesman Brett Dolan says last week’sannouncement that Hideo Nomo will be the starting pitcher for Iowa in thehome opener has helped spur interest.Dolan expects the crowd for the home opener to be larger than normal.Dolan says handling ticket requests is the easy part. Dealing with thetraveling media that covers Nomo is a different story as there are anywherebetween 30 and 50 people covering him.
