The paths of city folk and wildlife may cross this spring as ducks maketheir nesting sites in urban areas. Rich Patterson, Director of the IndianCreek Nature Center in Cedar Rapids, says cities make good homes forwaterfowl.Patterson says any Iowa city could host duck nests this spring.People may think that the ducks need food or shelter, but Patterson says youshould let nature take its course.Mallards are the most common duck found in cities.
