The Sports Authority of Greater Des Moines has announced the first annualDragon Boat festival. The three-day event will be held at the Raccoon RiverPark in West Des Moines, which Sports Authority executive director JoyceDurlam says is an ideal location.The festival will be held August 6th through the 8th with corporate andcommunity team competition. Durlam says the American Dragon Boat Associationbelives the West Des Moines location holds great potential.
