In its closing day, the Iowa legislature honored the close of Tom Davis’career as Iowa basketball coach. Davis compiled a record of 249 wins and130 losses in 13-seasons in Iowa City. Senator Joel Bolkom of IowaCity called it a spectacular record.The Hawkeyes made eight N-C-Double-A tournament appearances in his 12seasons. Senator Bob Dvorsky of Coralville saluted Davis, too.The Senate resolution congratulating Davis will be sent to him.
