Iowans who want to enjoy the outdoors may stumble onto danger — a methlab. The Department of Natural Resources is warning residents and hunters towatch out for drug lab remains and manufacturers.DNR Law Enforcement Chief, Lowell Joslin, says some of the items to bewareof are plastic gas containers, pieces of hose, and propane tanks. He saysyou shouldn’t touch or inhale meth lab remnants as they’re toxic.Joslin says meth labs can be found on private land and in remoterecreational areas. Joslin says if you find an abandoned meth lab or see suspicious activity,you should call local law enforcement.
