Governor Vilsack has approved 42-million dollars in property tax relief forIowans — about one-third of the tax cut package Republicans pushed throughthe legislature. Rants says the state can afford to give at least that much back toIowans.Governor Vilsack says if he’d approved the grandiose republican tax cutplans the state would have had to renig on its committments to improveschools.
