There are so many Republican presidential candidates in Iowa this week,they’re running into one another. On Tuesday morning, Lamar Alexander was out jogging on a Des Moines citystreet — when he says he ran into “candidate harassment.” It was PatBuchanan, riding by in a car. Buchanan rolled down the window and said “Hey, Lamar, you’re over-doing it.”Buchanan says with the humidity, he had a better deal in the air conditionedcar. Alexander says he runs to quote “clear my brain.” Alexander andBuchanan have a long history of poking fun at one another: the two onceserved together as aides in the Nixon Administration.
