Flood-damaged roadways are re-opening to traffic in eastern Iowa. In Jonescounty, officials say all the MAJOR roads which were damaged last month byflood waters have been repaired and are now open to motorists. Countyengineer Mike McClain says several roads were damaged after the WapsipiniconRiver overflowed its banks.Work crews have also made repairs to the county’s secondary roads.The flood also damaged Alliant Energy’s Anamosa facility. It’ll cost aquarter of a million dollars to fix it.
