The retired University of Iowa football coach who says he has no intentionof becoming a politician himself was front-and-center on the political stagethis weekend at a major republican party event. Retired Iowa football coach Hayden Fry received a standing ovation from thecrowd of over two-thousand. He quickly threw his support to George W. Bush,the front-runner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Bush said his mom and dad moved to Odessa, Texas when he was two years old– and Fry at the time was an Odessa football star. Fry said the”Dub-uh-yuh” in George W. Bush stands for “Winner.”
