Iowa’s First Lady Christie Vilsack is taking a nine-day trip across thestate in what is called an “Eye to Eye” continuing education course. Thecourse is offered through Iowa Wesleyn College. The course is taught on a motorcoach that Vilsack says will stop in severalIowa towns.Vilsack, who is a teacher, says she will learn some new things about Iowa’scultural heritage.Vilsack will earn three credit hours for the course that she needs tomaintain her teaching certificate. Vilsack says she may someday want toreturn to teaching.
