New Iowa coaches Kirk Ferentz and Steve Alford packed them in on the banquettour this spring. Crowds were way up on the I-Club’s annual tour around Iowaaccording to executive director Mark Jennings who says interest in the newfootball and basketball coaches was the biggest reason.Jennings says while he does not have exact figures, the banquet tour saw asignificant increase in attendance.Jennings says besides creating more interest, the increased crowds also meanmore money in the till.Jennings says more than 30 banquets have been held since mid-April.
