Three rural Iowa counties will be getting grants to establish art work,performances or art education in their communities. Appanoose, Audubon andMarshall Counties are the beneficiaries of the money, which will come fromthe National Endowment for the Arts, U-S-D-A Rural Development and PioneerHi-Bred International. Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs Director DanHunter says artists will collaborate with business developers and othercommunity leaders.The amount of the three-year grants could total 75-thousand dollars,depending upon what kind of projects the three counties choose to pursue.
