UNI interviews second AD candidate

Gilbert “Griz” Zimmerman was the second of four finalists to be interviewedfor the vacant athletic director post at the University of Northern Iowa.Zimmerman has been the assistant athletic director at Southern Methodist andfeels he would be a good fit for U-N-I. Zimmerman feels he would be a goodleader for the program. Zimmerman says fund raising is a big part of the joband says the best way for an Athletic Director to do that is build trustamong supporters.Southwest Missouri State associate athletic director Bill O’Neill was theother of the four finalists to be interviewed.
