Bradley calls for pledge against soft money

Democrat presidential candidate Bill Bradley has called for all candidates topromise not to accept so-called “soft money” into their campaigns. Huge”soft money” checks from individuals and corporations are given to the majorparties, then it’s passed along to candidates. By law, candidates mayaccept no more than one-thousand dollars from an individual. Bradley, aformer New Jersey senator, says both parties should pledge to not use softmoney.John McCain is the only candidate to accept Bradley’s challenge.
