New golf course under construction

An Ames man is developing 700 acres near Rhodes in central Iowa into achampionship golf course. Dickson Jensen says the “Harvestor” will be acommunity, not just a golf course.Jensen says the course will be open to the public and he hopes it somedayhosts a major championship.The couse will also become the new home of the Iowa State University men;sand women’s golf programs. The course is scheduled to be completed by Augustof next year.
