The U-S House plans to vote on the compromise tax bill today, one PresidentClinton vows to veto. While some criticize republicans for continuing topush a plan that’ll likely fail upon reaching the White House, IowaCongressman Tom Latham says the house will move forward on the tax cuts.President Clinton says the 792-BILLION dollar plan is risky and won’t workfor America. Latham says Clinton just wants to spend the tax dollars whichshould be going back to the tax payers:Latham says the tax reduction proposal would bring great relief on estateand gift taxes and would be “very important for Iowa, for agriculture andsmall businesses.”
