An Iowa State University professor says Hispanic voters will soon achieveparity in Iowa with the farm block. Census-takers say there are about100-thousand farmers in Iowa — and over 70-thousand Latinos or Hispanics. While the number of family farmers is on the decline, the number ofHispanics in Iowa has more than doubled in the past decade.
