Offensive lineman Nick Rahfaldtoriginally committed to Iowa State then changed his mind. Rahfaldt grew upan I-S-U fan and says it is unusual wearing the black and gold. Rahfaldt’s brother played at Iowa State and he plans to redshirt for theHawkeyes this season. Running back Aaron Greving orginally committed to theHawks then looked at other schools after Hayden Fry retired. He eventuallysigned with Iowa. With Kahlill Hill suspended for the season Greving couldbe used on special teams as a return man.Iowa running backs coach Carl Jackson says Greving could be part of theirgame plan this season.
