Almost 25-thousand Iowans voted in this past Time to roll out the red carpet. Dozens of dignitaries from 46 nations willbe visiting Iowa, starting today. The five-day bus tour will take them tohigh-technology manufacturing facilities and family farms. Iowa SenatorChuck Grassley is hosting his 7th Ambassadors Tour.In addition to the visits to all sorts of Iowa locations, Grassley says theAmbassadors will be staying overnight with hundreds of Iowans, learning alittle about our culture through direct contact.One of the final stops will be the Iowa State Fair. Given the commoditiessituation and the struggle facing many family farms, Grassley says this islikely the most vital Ambassadors Tour yet.The tour is stopping in the following cities over the five-day trip: Ames,Johnston, Iowa Falls, Webster City, Fort Dodge, Eagle Grove, Conrad,Homestead, Cedar Rapids, Newton, Pella, Grinnell, the Amanas, Des Moines.
