As many struggling Iowa farmers push for the U-S to open new trade marketsfor their products, several farm state Senators have just returned from atrade trip to Cuba. While he didn’t go on the mission, Iowa Senator ChuckGrassley sees the possibility of renewed trade with the island nation.Grassley says the Senate did pass legislation two weeks ago that wasdesigned to lift the embargo on U-S food & medicine shipments to Cuba.The U-S delegation was in Cuba three days & met with leader Fidel Castro.The team included Senators from North and South Dakota.
