Iowa Wesleyan College has named Tammy Conrad as the Tigers’ new women’sbasketball coach. The Dubuque native had been the head coach at West PointMarquette high school and led the Warriors to the state tournament back in1992. Conrad says coaching at the college level is something she has alwaysdreamed of.Conrad says while it is a step up from the high school level many of thesame philosophies apply.Conrad says having been a high school coach in the area will help her builda recruiting network.Conrad will also coach the women’s golf team and be an associate instructorin education.
