Iowa congressman Leonard Boswell begins a series of forums on theagriculture crisis today in Nevada. Boswell, a democrat, says he wants toget some input on the state of agriculture from the source.Boswell hopes congress will quickly approve help for farmers when their fallbreak is done. Boswell, is a farmer from Davis City. He isn’t sure if all the farm debateprior to the break will help them to act quickly on farm aid when congressresumes its work.Boswell says the U-S can do a lot to help farmers by pushing for more openmarkets during a World Trade Organizaton meeting that’s coming up.The forum today at the Nevada middle school begins at 2:30 pm. Other forumsare Thursday in Creston and Tuesday September 7th in Donnellson.
