Cyclone fever set to hit Ames

Fans are asked to display their “Cyclone fever” next Saturday in downtownAmes as part of the “We’re Diggin’ ISU Football” breakfast. Nikki Petersonof the Ames Chamber of Commerce says the event is designed to celebrate thenew school year and the new athletic season which is set to begin.Those attending will have a chance to sample a “cardinal and gold” omeletteprepared by one of the Cyclone coaches.Peterson says besides a hearty breakfast the Cyclone pep band andcheerleaders will be part of the festivities.
