State Fair wraps what could be a record run

The Iowa State Fair completed its 11-day run last night, drawing what mayturn out to be a record crowd.Fair spokeswoman Kathie Swift says the estimated attendance overall is at909-thousand, but she expects the official numbers to be much higher whenthey’re released in another 10 days or so.Swift says the fair’s organizers are already looking ahead to NEXT year.Swift says next year’s event will emphasize the future and cutting edgetechnology.
