Breast cancer researchers at the University of Iowa say they’ve made someimportant discoveries which could someday lead to a cure. Dr. Dawn Kirschmannsays they’ve found molecular differences between breast cancer cells thatspread throughout the body versus those that stay still and form tumors.Dr. Kirschmann hopes this research can be applied to other medical advancesto eventually launch a new attack on the killer disease.Estimates are that 190-thousand American women will be diagnosed with breastcancer this year and 14-thousand will die from it.
