Republican presidential hopeful Elizabeth Dole has been campaigning for months, but will formally announce her candidacy on November 7th — in Iowa. Monte Shaw, Dole’s Iowa campaign manager, says that should put to rest the rumors that she was getting out of the race. Dole starts her announcement tour in Des Moines, with stops in New Hampshire and the Carolinas the following day. Dole toured Iowa extensively for her husband’s three presidential campaigns.
