The Iowa State Cyclones host Oklahoma in their home finale. I-S-U coach Dan McCarney says the Cyclone defense faces a new challenge this week against a Sooner offense which throws the ball 70-percent of the time. McCarney says the key for the defense will be mixing it up. He says a defense cannot just blitz every play, but at the same time cannot consitently employ eight defensive backs.McCarney says the problem in defending Oklahoma is that you cannot afford to forget about the ground game.McCarney says the early part of the game could be a key. The Sooners have outscored their opponents 82-17 in the first quarter and McCarney says that is because of the unique style of offense they employ.
