The death of an infant in the eastern Iowa town of Dewitt is beinginvestigated as a case of child abuse.The autopsy found six-and-a-half month old Scott Swanson Junior had severalbroken ribs, bruises and a brain injury caused by a lack of oxygen. Thechild died Friday after being taken off of life support at a hospital. Nocharges are filed.
