Republican Presidential candidate George W. Bush is touring northwest Iowatoday. Bush focused on the moral issue of sexual abstinence during an appearance atM-O-C Floyd Valley High School in Orange City. The event was billed as a”Right Choices” event, and some students wore red ribbons to signify theirown promise to abstain from sex before marriage.Bush told the students one night during college, he drank too much andtried to steal a Christmas wreath — but was caught by police. In an earlierstop in Sioux City, Bush gave his standard stump speech. He answeredquestions about campaign finance reform, tax policy and immigration. Bushsays he understands why so many aliens are trying to get into the UnitedStates — they’re driven by family values.Bush says he sees no need to restrict the number of people who want tolegally enter the U-S. Bush was asked about campaign finance reform. Bush says the best way to handle the issue is to raise the limit donors areallowed to contribute and institute instant disclosure.
