Health care professionals from across Iowa are learning more about their complicated industry at a meeting in Des Moines today. Organizers say the statewide health policy conference is drawing all sorts of people in the health care industry.Mary Beth Langowski is program manager for the Health Policy Corporation of Iowa — which she describes as a coalition of Iowa leaders that works for a top notch and affordable health care system. Langowski says the goal of the conference is to address issues on qulity of health care.Langowski says the list of speakers includes many top professionals in the health care industry.Lieutenant Governor Sally Pederson will kick off the conference at the downtown Des Moines Marriott.
