The man who discovered the latest large dinosaur fossil speaks this evening at Drake University in Des Moines. Paul Sereno, a paleontologist at the University of Chicago, discovered what’s being called the most complete long-necked dinosaur ever found. Drake University professor Dan Spencer is a friend of Sereno’s.Spencer says Sereno’s work has added much to the study of the giant beasts.He’s looking forward to hearing Sereno speak about his latest discovery.Spencer says the large fossils Sereno and others have unearthed can tell us a lot about the world we live in.Sereno speaks at eight o’clock tonight in Drake’s Sheslow Auditorium. A National Geographic film about Sereno’s discovery will be shown Sunday at seven p-m on C-N-B-C.
