The Drake Bulldogs take a 7-3 mark into their season finale at Western Illinois. Rob Ash is closing out his 11th season as coach and says it is by far the toughest challenge the Bulldogs have faced.Drake went the non-scholarship route in football back in the mid-80’s and Ash says the move to one-double-a in 1993 helped them attract better players.Ash says the challenge of playing a team like Western Illinois has motivated the players.
