West Lyon won the Class 2-A football title on Saturday afternoon in the UNI-Dome, beating Starmont 44 to 7. Starmont Coach Dave Barkley says his team was out-matched.In Class 3-A, the champion is New Hampton, which beat Central Lyon-George Little Rock 12 to 7. New Hampton coach Scott Ferricks credited his team’s defensive effort.Central Lyon-George Little Rock coach Toby Lorenzen says his club had trouble running the ball.
