Buena Vista University did not wait long to hire a new football coach. The school promoted offensive co-ordinator Steve Osterberger who worked under former coach Joe Hadachek for the past four seasons. Osterberger says he is ready to become a head coach.Osterberger feels it will be a smooth transition for the program.He says having the school move quickly will help the program in the recruiting process.Osterberger was a four-year starter at quarterback for Drake in the late 1980’s and owns 20-school records.
