Iowa House Speaker Brent Siegrist says he’s putting together a commission on the Internet. Siegrist, a republican from Council Bluffs, says government leaders need to be up to speed on the information superhighway.He says he is looking for twelve people to serve on the commission.Siegrist says Iowa can be a player in the growing business trade on the internet and lawmakers need to be ready to meet the challenge.Siegrist says he will appoint a chair of the commission and let that person decided how to proceed.
