The Grinnell men’s basketball team plays tonight against Illinois College. Grinnell coach Dave Arseneault says the offense has been the key to Grinnell’s turn-a-round. The Pioneers are 1-1 and Illinois College is the defending Midwest Conference Champion, and Arsenault says it will be a very interesting matchup. Arsenault says the performance of Woody Piirto a second-year player out of Boulder, Colorado, has been a key for the team.Grinnell’s last game was Tuesday and Arsenault says the time off has been beneficial.
