Triple-A officials think this season’s high gasoline prices may reduce the number of travelers on the road. A gallon of gas is selling for an average of a-dollar-21 in Iowa. That’s 27 cents higher than last year at this time. Daron Van Helden of Iowa’s Triple-A says there’s no sign gas prices will go down soon.Van Helden says the only way prices will fall is if oil producing countries increase production.Van Helden says some oil-producing nations want O-PEC to increase the supply to lower prices.While Iowa’s gas prices are higher, they are still ten cents lower than the national average.
