The new “chic” club drug — “Ecstasy” — is becoming more popular on the coasts but Dale Woollery, a spokesman for the Governor’s Alliance on Substance Abuse, says it’s not caught on in Iowa — yet.U-S Customs Agents today arrested six Americans in California and seized an illegal shipment of 700-pounds of “Ecstasy.” Officials estimate the drugs would have had a street value of 30 million dollars. Woolery says the illegal stimulant is found in both powder and pill form.Woolery says the drug is commonly associated with all-night “Raves” — dance parties populated by young people.Woolery says “Ecstasy” causes a rapid heart beat, nausea and insomnia.
