New track meet planned for Cedar Falls

Former U-N-I track star Joey Woody has organized a track and field event for next month in the UNI-Dome that will include a number of world class competitors. Woody expects the event to attract more than 30 competitors who have taken part in the Olympics.Woody says one of those taking part is Atlanta Falcons wide receiver and former Iowa standout Tim Dwight.Woody says the Invitational will have four high school relay events.Woody hopes it will become an annual event, depending on how many people turn out to watch the meet.The meet is February 27th.
