Newton-based Maytag Corporation announced 1999 marked the company’s third consecutive year of record sales and earnings. The company says sales grew over six-percent last year to a record four-point-three billion dollars. Maytag Ceo and Chairman Loyd Ward says they epect the good sales to continue this year with several new products on the market.
