Northern Iowa freshman forward Derek Paben will miss Thursday night’s game at Southern Illinois. The Nebraska native was suspended for two games by coach Sam Weaver. Paben was allowed to go home to attend the funeral of a friend but got back to Cedar Falls late and missed a game.Weaver says the suspension began with Saturday’s game against Southwest Missouri State.
