Fire hits behind Mt. Pleasant fire station

The Mount Pleasant fire department didn’t have far to go to fight a fire last night.The fire was in a furniture storage building right behind the fire station. Firefighters fought the fire for four hours, but weren’t able to save the building. The metal fire station building suffered some minor damage from the heat and smoke. The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
