Northern Iowa managed just 34-percent shooting in dropping a 51-46 decision at Southern Illinois last night in Missouri Valley Conference play. U-N-I coach Sam Weaver says the cold shooting overshadowed a good defensive effort.U-N-I trailed by ten at the half and made several runs in the second half but Weaver says they could not make enough shots to get over the hump.Weaver says the Panthers yielded too many offensive rebounds.
