Northern Iowa senior forward Allison Starr has been named the Missouri Valley Conference women’s player of the week. Starr averaged 25 and a half points in Panther victories over Wichita State and Southwest Missouri State.U-N-I coach Tony Dicecco says Starr has taken over the leadership role on the team. Starr is the second leading scorer in the Missouri Valley Conference averaging 20 points a game.
