A Davenport-based grocery store chain is in deep debt and is taking action today to try and stay in business. Eagle’s Country Market is filing for bankruptcy protection & plans to close 19 of its 83 stores in Illinois & Iowa. It’s still unclear which stores will be closed. The chain now employs 65-hundred workers.
