A shooting death is under investigation in western Iowa’s Cass County. A horseback-riding father & son found the body east of Atlantic on Sunday. The sheriff says it’s a 40-year-old man who died of a single gunshot wound to the head. The weapon was recovered. The victim’s name has not been released, nor have any other details.
