Gasoline prices have hit another all-time high. An Iowa Department of Natural Resources survey finds the statewide average price for a gallon of gasoline is a dollar-50. That’s 12 cents higher than in February and 54 cents higher than in March of last year. David Downing is a fuel market analyst for the state. Downing says when you adjust prices based on inflation, though, the price of gas isn’t that expensive.Downing says prices are declining a bit — there’s been a two-cent decline at the wholesale level. He says OPEC meets on March 27th to talk about possible production increases, which could have an impact on gas prices.The average price of diesel fuel in March: a-dollar-51. That’s six-cents higher than last month and 48-cents more than prices a year ago.
